Fan Experience Guide & Sockville Policies
ADA ACCESSIBLE PARKING
ADA accessible parking is available in the main lot, to the right of the Sockville sign and in front of the Sock Puppets Clubhouse. Additional ADA parking is located in the Fairchild Rec Center parking lot and along the service road adjacent to the first base line.
ADA ACCESSIBLE SEATING
ADA accessible seating is available in the first rows of each base line grandstands. Patrons can also sit in the grass areas in front of the grandstands, as well as in the right field venue.
ALCOHOL
Beer is available at the 1st Base Bar and Suntamers Window Tinting 3rd Base Bar. There is a limit of two drinks per person, per purchase. North Carolina law prohibits the selling to or purchase of alcohol to minors under the age of 21. Each customer must present valid picture identification at the time of purchase. All beer sales will conclude at the end of the 7th inning each game, with the exception on fireworks nights, where alcohol sales end at the conclusion of the game. Contact the Sock Puppets Front Office if you would like us to arrange a safe ride home for you.
AUTOGRAPHS
Fans may ask players for autographs before and after each Sock Puppets game, when they are passing through the concourse. We ask that fans respect the players while they are in the game, and wait to ask for autographs until the game is over. Fans may be asked to leave the ballpark if they are found harassing players for autographs.
ATM
We have one ATM located in the OT Sports Sock Market Team Store.
BABY CHANGING AREAS
Baby changing tables are located in the Family Restroom across from the 1st Base Bathrooms.
BEVERAGES, FOOD & CONTAINERS
There is one main concession stand inside the stadium, behind home plate on the main concourse. For fans that have Wade’s Jewelers VIP access, you may access the All-You-Can-Eat stand across from the first base bathrooms. For deserts, Sunset Slush of Alamance County is located by the 3rd Base Bathrooms and Dippin Dots is located by the 1st Base Bathrooms. No outside food & beverages, coolers or containers may be brought into Burlington Athletic Stadium without consent from the Sock Puppets Front Office or City of Burlington. Alcoholic beverages purchased in-stadium, must be consumed in-stadium. Fans are not permitted to leave the stadium with any alcoholic beverages under any circumstances.
CAMERAS/VIDEO EQUIPMENT
All fans who attend a Sock Puppets Home Game or event inside Burlington Athletic Stadium consent to being in any piece of photography/videography when they enter the gate. If fans wish to not be in any potential media content, please alert a Sock Puppets staff member upon arrival. Fans are also able and encouraged to bring in their personal camera equipment and capture their own content. CREDIT CARDS
Credit cards are now accepted at all main Food & Beverage locations, as well as the Sock Market Team Store, inside Burlington Athletic Stadium.
FAN CONDUCT
The Burlington Sock Puppets are proud and committed to creating a fun, safe environment throughout Burlington Athletic Stadium. Our Fan Conduct Policy may be amended at any time, without warning. Fans who violate any portion of the Fan Conduct Policy are subject to immediate removal from the stadium and/or permanent suspension.
Fans under the age of 16, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at every Sock Puppets game and event.
Harassment of any kind, the use of profane/hateful language and any other verbal or physical threats directed at other fans, players, umpires, or staff members are strictly prohibited. The Sock Puppets hold a zero tolerance policy for any of the conduct mentioned above and will result in immediate removal from the ballpark.
Fans that consumer alcoholic beverages must be 21 years of age and older and must drink responsibly. This includes ensuring you have a safe ride to and from the ballpark, no excessive drinking, and maintaining proper behavior in accordance with our Fan Conduct policy. If you need a ride arranged for you, please contact the Sock Puppets Front Office staff for assistance.
Fans may only sit in their designated seat, shown on their ticket. All GA tickets do not guarantee a specific seat and, on certain games, may only be standing room only.
No objects can be thrown onto the field of play, or at any person inside Burlington Athletic Stadium.
Fans that have clothing with offensive language or have signs displaying offensive language will not be allowed entrance into the stadium.
All persons inside Burlington Athletic Stadium must comply with any direction given to them by a Sock Puppets Front Office Staff Member or City of Burlington Designee. The Burlington Sock Puppets and the City of Burlington hold the right to remove anyone from the premises at any time.
FIRST AID
At every Sock Puppets Home Game there will always be an EMT and multiple City of Burlington Police Officers/Alamance County Sheriff Deputies. If you need assistance, please find them or a Sock Puppets staff member to get the type of care you need.
FOUL BALLS
Foul balls and other objects can and will leave the field of play. Fans in attendance must pay attention at all times. Foul balls may be kept as a souvenir, however, no one may attempt to enter the field of play to retrieve a foul ball.
GAME PROGRAM
The 2023 Burlington Sock Puppets Souvenir Program is free and available at each gate and at the ticket office.
GAME TIMES AND GATE OPENING TIMES
Monday-Wednesday* games start at 7:00pm - Gates open at 6:00pm
Thursday-Saturday games start at 7:00pm - Gates open at 5:30pm
Sunday games start at 5:30pm - Gates open at 4:30pm
*July 4th game starts at 6:30pm - Gates open at 5:00pm
*July 11th game starts at 11:00am - Gates open at 10:00am
**In the event of a double header game day, there will be two, seven-inning games. Gates will open ONE hour before the start of the first game. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
GRASS SEATING
Fans are permitted to bring in their own lawn chairs to sit in any of the grass areas down the 1st and 3rd Base lines. There are no chairs available to reserve for the grass areas. Fans are not allowed to set up tents or any kind of covering in those areas, as it may obstruct the view of fans sitting in the grandstands.

We offer FREE in-game announcements that highlight birthdays, anniversaries, or other appropriate messages. If you would like to submit a request for your announcement to be read out at a specific Sock Puppets game, please email us the following information at info@gosockpuppets.com

Please submit your request at least 48-hours prior to the game you are attending. If you submit it within 48-hours, we will still do our best to get it in our script, but cannot guarantee it. You will not receive a confirmation email notification, but if you wish to check-in when you arrive for the game, please find a Sock Puppets Front Office staff member.
KID'S ZONE
Our Kid’s Zone is free for all kids 13 and under to enjoy. There are limits to the number of kids who may interact/enter a specific game/inflatable/equipment, therefore lines will be formed in a neat and orderly fashion. There is also no rough or physical play allowed in any area of the Kid’s Zone. Kid’s may be asked to leave at the discretion of any Sock Puppets staff member.
LOST AND FOUND
Items that are found by staff members or other fans are directed to bring them to Fan Services booth across from the main concessions stand and/or the OT Sports Sock Market Team Store. If you lose something while at the game, please find a Sock Puppets Front Office staff member for assistance.
SOCK MARKET TEAM STORE
The Sock Puppets Team Store is powered by OT Sports. On game days, fans may enter through the door to the right of the Wilson Brown Sock Puppet Station. The store will remain open until the end of each game or event. Non-game day and off-season hours are typically 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, but may vary due to staff scheduling and holidays. Please call us at (336) 222-0223 prior to your visit. If you need a specific date or time outside of normal business hours, please email us at info@gosockpuppets.com and we will do our best to open the store at a time that works better for you.
PARKING
Parking is free for all Sock Puppet games and events. Any parking that you see someone charging is not affiliated with our organization. Parking is located in front of Burlington Athletic Stadium, within the Fairchild Rec Center lot, and down the service road adjacent to the first base line. On busier nights, the Fairchild Soccer Field lots will also be open. We encourage vehicles to stay off all grass areas, parking there is at the risk of the vehicle’s owner.
STREAMING BROADCASTS
All Sock Puppets broadcasts are streamed and can be viewed by visiting gosockpuppets.com and clicking the ‘Watch the Sock Puppets’ tab. Home games are broadcasted this year by Gray Aust. Away games are broadcasted by the home team organization and not immediately affiliated with the Burlington Sock Puppets.
RAIN POLICY
We do everything we can in our power to always play our home games on time. If there are updates or changes to game times, we will post them on our social media channels (@gosockpuppets). If no updates have been made, then the game will be on as scheduled. If you scan your ticket into a game that then gets rained out, you are eligible to exchange those tickets for additional undated tickets.
If your tickets are part of a group event, your representative from the Sock Puppets will connect with you on future options.
RE-ENTRY
You are permitted to leave and re-enter the ballpark as long as you have your valid ticket to the event. Check in with one of our gate attendants prior to leaving to ensure they are aware.
RESTROOMS
All restrooms are ADA approved both on the 1st and 3rd Base sides of the concourse. We have one family restroom across from the 1st Base bathrooms.
SECURITY
All fans and any bags brought into Burlington Athletic Stadium are subject to search. Bags must be no larger than a backpack. Items not permitted:
• Weapons of any description, including firearms (weapons carried with a permit are also prohibited)• Knives of any size
• Canes, chains or sticks of any length *(non-medical use canes)• Fireworks or any explosives
• Illegal/Non-prescribed drugs
• Laser pointers• Pets *(except service animals or on Sock Puppy Nights)
SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of Burlington Athletic Stadium. This includes the use of any tobacco products, vaping and e-cigarettes. You may step outside the gates of the ballpark and will be permitted reentry if you need to utilize any of the aforementioned products.
TICKET PRICING
Reserved Seats are SOLD OUT for the 2023 season. General Admission tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for Military and Veterans, children 18 and under, first responders, teachers and seniors.
